What are crowns?

Dental crowns are tooth-looking caps placed over damaged, weak, or unattractive teeth. Crowns are custom-made to fit and look just like your natural teeth and can be made of various materials.

What is the crown process?

1. Examine Tooth

The problematic tooth is examined and a dedicated plan is created.

2. Prepare Tooth

Tooth is filed down and prepared for placement of a crown.

3. Tooth Mold

A mold or impression of the tooth is taken and sent to the lab once finalized.

4. Make Crown

The lab creates a custom, personalized crown from the provided mold/impression.

5. Place Crown

Dentist receives crown and it is placed (cemented) over the prepared tooth.

6. Final Check

The crown is checked for proper form and function.
